We’re a team of dreamers, doers, and creatives who have a combined century of experience in working alongside impact-based organizations to tell (and live) great stories.

Our co-founders have backgrounds in local church ministry, denominational networks, and higher education; but our writers come from all sorts of denominations, backgrounds, and industries.

All of us are doing this work because we love collaborating with incredible people who do inspiring things. (That’s you)!

Meet the Co-Founders

One of our friends says that most “founders” are more like “finders” — people who discover new possibilities and say “yes” to a new idea. Here are our “finders.”

  • Co-Founder

    Based in Flagstaff, Arizona (where the sun shines a lot), Joel is a dad of 3 boys who’s worked in the church (local and denominational), and currently makes his vocational home in innovative higher education. He loves good coffee, trail-running, neat ideas, and great people.

  • Co-Founder

    Based in Marion, Indiana, Ethan’s (also) the dad of 3 boys, and husband to Sarah. He’s worked in higher education and the church (local and denominational), and loves great coffee, a well-built bag, and a good running route.
