Sarah creates welcoming space for people to notice God’s presence in the ordinary, complicated, and beautiful parts of life.

Sarah began her work in the church in 2012 and has served in children’s and youth ministry, congregational care, and prayer retreats. She earned her degree in Behavioral Science in 2014 and received her certification in Spiritual Direction in 2020.

Having served churches across several denominations, Sarah treasures the beauty of the Church as it takes shape in many different local communities. She lives in Marion, Indiana, with her husband, Ethan, and their three boys, Ezra, Isaiah, and Jack. She loves coffee, hiking, and opening her home to neighbors and friends.

Jeff offers individual, group, and marital direction, companioning people as they attune to God’s voice and movement in their lives.

Jeff completed a graduate certificate in spiritual direction from Portland Seminary in 2022, building on years of pastoral ministry and a Clinical Pastoral Education residency at Lutheran Hospital in 2023. His own journey through family brokenness, traumatic brain injury, and restoration in his marriage has formed a lived conviction that God continues to offer fresh opportunities for repentance, forgiveness, and transformation, even within our hardest circumstances.A son of God, husband, father, pastor, chaplain, and speaker, Jeff discerned a call to ministry while growing up in a Quaker church. He earned his MDiv from Wesley Seminary in 2014 and has served across the Disciples of Christ, United Methodist, and Wesleyan traditions. Ordained in The Wesleyan Church in 2016, Jeff and his wife, Heather, planted Commoners House Church in 2020. He now serves as a full-time hospital chaplain at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. Jeff and Heather delight in their family, their growing role as grandparents, and their two cats, Tom (Brady) and Stella.

Alex is a kind and empathetic shepherd who helps people become more aware of God, find wholeness, and live more fully into their calling.

Alex serves as Assistant Dean and Director of Spiritual Formation and Field Education at Wesley Seminary. An ordained elder in The Wesleyan Church since 2004, he brings 20 years of pastoral experience in New York, Ohio, and Indiana, including service as pastor of congregational care and discipleship ministries at College Wesleyan Church.

A 2013 Wesley Seminary graduate, Alex is completing doctoral research on mentoring resources in higher education through the framework of the ancient practice of spiritual direction. He is husband to Jenn and father to four children. He is always up for a good book, game, movie, or new eatery, and can often be found hiking, camping, kayaking, or cheering for the Buffalo Bills through another season that ends a little earlier than he hoped.

Jenn brings an attentive, calm, and hope-filled presence to people who want to encounter God in meaningful and life-giving ways.

A wife, mother of four, and longtime ministry partner, Jenn spent more than 20 years serving alongside her husband, Alex, in a variety of church and pastoral contexts. Through those years, she developed a deep love for families serving in vocational ministry and for accompanying them as they faithfully live into their calling.

Spiritual direction has played a significant role in Jenn’s own journey of learning to live in the freedom of God’s love and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, kayaking, camping, hiking, birdwatching, and finding delight in the beauty of God’s creation with family and friends.

David helps people slow down, pay attention, and listen for God’s voice in the midst of everyday life and ministry.

Drawing on an MDiv from Asbury Theological Seminary, an MTh from Princeton, a PhD from Walden University, and years of formation and ministry, David brings deep theological grounding and pastoral warmth to spiritual direction. He has special interest in journeying with people who feel God is absent.

David formerly served The Wesleyan Church as Director of Clergy Development and Clergy Care, championing a vision of pastors thriving spiritually, emotionally, relationally, physically, intellectually, and financially. He has pastored churches in Canada and New York and served as dean of Christian Formation at Kingswood University and academic dean at Somerset Christian College, now Pillar University. Today, as Director of Pastoral Care at Pastors’ Hope Network, he accompanies pastors and families navigating hard ministry transitions and supports clergy well-being in the Atlantic District of The Wesleyan Church. David and his wife, Jane, live in New Brunswick and have one daughter and a granddaughter.

Jeremy offers the kind of attentive, unhurried presence that helps people listen for God in seasons of clarity and confusion alike.

Jeremy completed a two-year certification program in spiritual direction, training in holy listening, discernment, and contemplative accompaniment. For Jeremy, spiritual direction is a ministry of presence: sitting with someone, asking good questions, and trusting that God is already speaking when there is room enough to listen.

Jeremy serves as Pastor of Ministry Development at College Wesleyan Church and Director of Mission Driven Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University. An ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church, he works across church, academic, and nonprofit settings, serves on several boards, and regularly speaks at churches and universities. He is the co-author of seven books, including How to Plant an Orchard: Seven Seeds for Growing in Jesus, and has contributed to publications including The New York Times, The Indianapolis Star, and The State. Jeremy is married and has four children.
